Working Together

At Alternatives to Violence, we're dedicated to doing our part to make Tehama County a safe and healthy community. We're proud to partner with other local organizations who share this vision. These collaborations allow ATV to provide additional services, to collaborate on community planning or to help connect people to the services they need.

If you're interested in finding out more about any of the programs or groups below, please visit the linked websites, or contact ATV directly with questions.

Together on Purpose (TOP)
Supportive Services to Adoptive Families in Tehama County
Through a partnership with Tehama County's Permanency Team, ATV has recently opened an exciting program that provides supportive services to families that have adopted or are in the process of adopting children in Tehama County. While families adopting through Foster Care or Kinship Care are the most likely to already be receiving information about Together on Purpose, ALL adoptive families are invited to participate! Visit the under-construction website here, or take the TOP Family Survey on ATV's site to start receiving announcements and newsletters.

Tehama County Continuum of Care (TCCoC)
Working Together to Prevent and End Homelessness
The Continuum of Care is dedicated to developing a system of seamless care for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless in Tehama County. Domestic violence is a significant factor in causing homelessness for many adults and children, and ATV's participation in the Continuum of Care is vital to helping wipe out homelessness in our community. If you are interested in finding out more about the services available or would like to get involved in finding solutions, visit the TCCoC's website here.
